May 2012

On the 4th May I travelled to Christchurch to see Mum and Dad before heading up to Auckland to my nephew Brad's wedding.

Had a really really busy time in Christchurch and neglected to take many photos other than a very quick visit to Fiddy's new abode!

Cute tipped over shed
Hens laying eggs in the background
Gorgeous little spot in the sun

Headed up to Auckland on Tuesday afternoon - Geoff and Laura were getting in at midnight. Liz picked me up and we had a quick shop, tea and then she dropped me to Jen and Mark's new place in Bucklands Beach.

We had a girly day out on Wednesday - started with high tea at the Langham

time to go!
We were delighted to go to Chois with Arnold and Carol - just like old times!  Australia would be perfect if we could import our friends (and Choi's!)

Yum!!
Thursday was another busy day - Jen, Laura, Julie and I met the boys for lunch at the Cock and Bull - boys being Mark, Selwyn and Nathan.  Then we headed for some more girly time - this time nails and a pedicure.

Ahhh!
Pampering time
Pity they are hidden in our winter shoes!
Nice!
After mission we went to Jane and Si's for supper to wish Brad all the best for his wedding the next day!

Friday, 11th May dawned - beautiful day.

Called into Liz and Alton's - Nick and Mel had arrived the previous night and delivered the exciting news that Number 3 grandchild is cooking!!!!
